Thought-provoking

Covers an important topic.I meet far too many people whose learning from 10+ years of instruction in mathematics is that they can't do it. It is hard to believe that continuing to do what we have always done will fix this problem and Boaler's book provides evidence-based, practical alternatives.Would have benefited from more rigorous proof-reading (at least in the Kindle edition), e.g. FOIL is a mnemonic not a pneumonic.The chapter on sex differences relies heavily on works that are controversial.
