Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile, by Paul Manning

Anticipating the defeat of the Third Reich, Reichsleiter Martin Bormann set up 750 corporations in neutral countries, primed as vehicles to receive the liquid wealth of Germany in addition to patents and other proprietary industrial information. An organizational genius and the real power behind Hitler, Bormann, known as the "Brown Eminence", successfully fled Europe for South America and administered a "Reich in Exile" in the years following the war. With remnants of the SS as an enforcement arm, former Gestapo chief General Heinrich Mueller as security director, the 750 corporations as a base of economic power and the willing silence and cooperation of the Western Allies, Bormann guided his organization to a position of consummate power. One banker quoted by Manning termed the Bormann Organization, the "world's most important accumulation of money power under one control in history". Controlling Germany's major corporations, the Federal Republic itself and much of Latin America, the Bormann Organization also maintained a formidable circle of influence in the United States. Paul Manning has written the definitive text on the Bormann Organization. Manning worked with CBS radio during World War II in London as a member of the elite Edward R. Murrow/Walter Cronkite team. As part of his coverage duties, he was the only member actually allowed to fly on U.S. Air Force missions as a fully functional crew member. Having qualified as a gunner, his flights included B-17 missions with the 8th Air Force over Germany and several B-29 missions to Japan. On behalf of CBS, he broadcasted the surrenders of Japan and Germany. In 1948, along with fifteen other distinguished war correspondents, he was awarded a medal for his reporting of the unconditional surrender of the Germans at Rheims. After the war Manning continued his journalistic profession and also served as a speechwriter for Nelson Rockefeller.

Hitler's heir Martin Bormann Secret Nazi Fuehrer in South America
By K. Elder
Manning is a very thorough researcher. Hitler declared Martin Bormann to be the New Fuehrer just before he committed suicide. The body claimed to Bormann's was that of a Jew in a concentration camp who looked like Bormann and was taken and had his teeth treated by a German dentist to fit Bormann's teeth pattern. Manning contacted high up Nazi leaders in South America to allow him to write this book, this is in the 70s' to early 80's period. Bormann even was willing to be interviewed by Manning but his security people vetoed this. One reason for Martin Bormann's success in using South America as a base for the "Fourth Reich" was his making peace with the rich Jews of South America and employing them in leadership positions in his large businesses in South America. South American Jewish leaders told Jewish Nazi hunters to go back to Israel. Bormann was never directly involved in the concentration camp treatment of the Jews. He was the one with the contact with the rich elite capitalists of Germany for the Nazi party and the power behind the throne, a genius at organization.

When it comes to the writing of this material, Paul Manning doesn't play around.
By James
The title phrase could very easily sum up this outstanding historical information he presented, as well as the countless years he invested into arriving at the factual evidence he presents here. Before I completed reading the book, I knew very little about Martin Bormann. My years of research into World War Two Nazi Germany centered mostly around the others in Adolf Hitler's inner circle, and Bormann, to me, seemed to be a nagging secretary; a quiet stocky little man who amounted to as much importance, as any other secretary within his limited scope of accountability. I briefly knew about his conflicting personality with Himmler, and his propensity for standing behind his Fhrer in almost every photograph, but unfortunately, for my real understanding of the inner workings of the Nazi regime, I misunderstood the Reichsleiter's true aspirations.

By reading this book, I realized the true influence and sheer power of the man they called, "The Brown Eminence".

My Father always mentioned to me when discussing history, that to truly understand the reasons for why things happen within man's scope of influence, and the best way to use your investigative time wisely, is to adhere to that old adage....

Follow The Money!

I was also privy to THE FACT as I saw it, that Martin Bormann died in 1945 when after leaving the Fhrerbunker, a tank he was in, was hit by the Russians.

I no longer believe he died that day, and after reading the detail within this book, which includes the development of the Ausslander's Organzation, the funneling of resources out of Germany for the beginning of a fourth Reich, and all the evidence Mr. Manning presents here, that Martin Bormann did indeed oversee the development of over 750 corporations; many of which we can factually check to this day. There is information about his work with Juan Peron, his investments, how the money was laundered, where, and with what institutions, who were affiliated, what corporations (including American) were involved, and on and on.

Lastly, many in the supposed know speak of evidence found in Berlin which shows without a shadow of a doubt that Bormann died in 1945. Do yourself a favor. If you are interested in this subject and want to make a really educated decision on whether this is truth or fiction, read the book. In it you will find out for yourself and be able to make the best decision either way. As far as I am concerned, the evidence Paul Manning presents here speaks louder than some red clay (clay found in South America and not Europe) impacted bones placed neatly in the exact position and area where the West German Govt. just knew to dig 30 something years later. Or better yet, ask the Mossad why it is they found 6 exacting grave sites throughout the planet, which also purported to be the remains of Reichsleiter Bormann. Enjoy the book and make up your mind knowing that Paul Manning spent his entire life presenting it to you.

Better than some of the current Bormann/Hitler books...
By Dave Davidson
Better than some of the current Bormann/Hitler books. While it does have a list of illustrations, it's index is adequate. No footnotes nor bibliography.
